2016/2017 Nigerian Air Force Recruitment Screening Date and Examination Centres

2016/2017 Nigerian Air Force Recruitment Screening Date and Examination Centres- This is to inform the general public that the management of Nigerian Air force has released examination date and the list of examination centres for the Nigerian Air force Airmen/Airwomen 2017/2018 recruitment pre-screening examination exercise.


The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is the air arm of the Nigerian Armed Forces. It is one of the largest in Africa, consisting of about 10,000 personnel and aircraft including 12 Chinese Chengdu F-7s, and 11 Dassault-Dornier Alpha Jets, armed helicopters, and military transport aircraft.

The list of shortlisted candidates for the zonal screening exercise will be published after the Pre-screening examination.

N/B: Currently, the screening date for Nigerian Air Force Recruitment is not yet available online, ensure to bookmark this page so as to be notified once its out.

Successful candidates from the Pre-Screening Examination are to attend at the Zonal Screening Centres for their respective states of origin.

Nigerian Air force Recruitment Examination Centres for Screening

Qualifying recruitment tests will be held in the following centers:
  1. Makurdi: Nigerian Air Force Base, Markudi.
  2. Ilorin: 303 MAG, Nigerian Air Force Ilorin.
  3. Lagos: Sam Ethnan Air Force Base, Ikeja – Lagos.
  4. Enugu: 113, Helicopter Combat Training Group Nigerian Air Force Enugu.
  5. Port Harcourt: 115 Special Operations Group Nigerian Air Force Port Harcourt.
  6. Benin: 107 Air Maritime Group, Nigerian Air Force Benin.
  7. Kaduna: Nigerian Air Force Base, Kawo – Kaduna.
  8. Kano: 403 Flying Training School, Kano.
  9. Maiduguri: 105 Composite Group Nigerian Air Force Maiduguri.
  10. Ipetu-Ijesha: Nigerian Air Force Institute of Safety, Ipetu-Ijesha.
  11. Sokoto: 119 Forward Operation Base Mabera, Sokoto.
  12. Yola: 103 Strike Group, Nigerian Air Force, Yola.
  13. Jos: 451 Nigerian Air Force Station, Jos.
  14. Bauchi: Nigerian Air Force Base Bauchi.

Additional Instructions

  1. Applicants will be required to submit for scrutiny, the original copies of the documents at the recruitment centers and during the final selection interview. Applicants will be required to present following documents if selected for the zonal recruitment test:
    1. Two recent passport size photographs to be stamped and countersigned by officer of appropriate rank specified, Local Government Chairmen/Secretaries and other specified officers in Paragraph 8.
    2. Photocopies of:
      1. Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age (Any age declaration done later than 4 years to this exercise will not be acceptable).
      2. Educational/Trade Certificates.
      3. Indigenship certificate from applicant’s State of Origin.
  2. Any applicant suspected to have impersonated or submitted false document(s) shall be disqualified from the selection exercise. Also, any false declaration detected later may lead to withdrawal from training. Such applicants may be handed over to the Police for prosecution. The Nigerian Air Force will not entertain any enquiries in respect of applicants whose applications have been rejected. Interested applicants are to note that the online registration is free of charge. Applicants are required to fill valid email addresses and Telephone numbers in the appropriate spaces provided in the application form.
  3. On completion of the application forms, applicants must print out the Acknowledgment Slip.
