- Novel Interactive Technologies is looking to hire a telemarketing professional to generate sales either by cold calling or answering requests in a fast-paced environment.
- An ideal telemarketer must be friendly and persuasive. You must be able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to buy products or services.
- He or she will also be patient and cool-tempered to deal with aggressiveness and complaints.
- To get in touch with business owners or individuals via the phone to promote products, services and/or charitable causes.
- To modify scripted transaction pitches to meet the needs of particular entities.
- To record buyer details, including reactions to the product and/or services offered.
- To take orders for goods and services over the phone.
- To receive orders over the phone and maintain details in a digital system.
- To record customer details and details of transactions.
- To obtain contact details of potential customers from sources such as digital directories and alternative sources.
- To schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers and conduct customer and market surveys.
- To explain the product or service to potential customers.
- To provide pricing details and handle customer questions.
- To obtain customer information, including names and addresses.
- To make phone calls to prospective customers who respond to advertisements.
- To contact customers regularly to follow up on initial interactions.
- Tangible experience as a telemarketer or similar customer-related role.
- Tangible track record of high sales conversion rates preferably over the phone
- Working knowledge, or strong desire to learn relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software)
- Persistent and results-oriented
- Patient and able to appropriately handle diverse customer reactions.
